KitFront provides reusable website sections, templates, code examples, and related digital resources. KitFront is operated by Deepak Verma, an individual based in India. Deepak Verma, operating KitFront, is responsible for personal information processed directly by KitFront.
This Privacy Policy explains what information KitFront processes, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices and rights available to you. If you have questions or want to make a privacy request, contact support@kitfront.com.
1. Information We Process
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use KitFront, you may provide an email address, name or other profile information, authentication-related information, support messages, feedback, Team details, Team invitation email addresses, purchase-related customer information, marketing preferences, and other information you choose to provide.
Account and Authentication Information
KitFront uses Supabase for authentication, account-related functionality, and database services. Supabase may process your email address, account identifier, profile name, authentication status, sign-in provider, and related authentication information. If you use Google sign-in, KitFront may receive information made available through that sign-in flow, such as your email address, name, profile image, and provider identifier. KitFront does not store your plaintext password.
Team Information
Team functionality may involve a Team name, owner, members, member email addresses, invited email addresses, invitation and membership status, seat allocation and usage, and records of joining, leaving, invitation, revocation, or removal. A Team owner may enter another person's email address to send an invitation, so KitFront may receive and process an invited person's email address before that person creates a KitFront account.
Team owners can see information reasonably necessary to manage their Team, including current members, invitations, membership status, and seat usage.
Payment and Billing Information
Lemon Squeezy is KitFront's merchant of record for paid purchases. Lemon Squeezy processes customer, billing, payment, tax, order, and subscription information under its own terms and privacy policy. KitFront sends information needed to create a checkout, including your email address, selected plan, KitFront account identifier, and, for Team purchases, relevant Team and seat information.
KitFront receives and stores information needed to verify purchases, activate and manage access, maintain entitlements and transaction records, manage subscriptions, and provide support. This may include provider customer, order, product, variant and subscription identifiers, plan, status, quantity, amount, currency, renewal, cancellation, refund, and payment event information. KitFront does not directly store your full payment-card details.
Usage, Analytics, and Technical Information
Depending on the service used and your consent settings, KitFront's analytics providers may process pages viewed, referring pages, website interactions, session or activity information, product feature usage, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP or network information, and technical, error, or performance information. Not every provider collects every type of information in this list.
KitFront also maintains aggregate counts of section usage, such as the framework, category, section, and whether access was free or Pro. These aggregate records are used to understand product usage and are not stored with a KitFront user identifier.
Support and Communications
If you contact KitFront, we may process your email address, message, attachments, and other information you provide. Resend is used for certain transactional and service emails, including Team invitations and welcome or other account-related messages. Resend may process the recipient's email address and the information needed to deliver and manage those messages.
2. Why We Use Information
KitFront uses information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts
- provide website sections, account features, favorites, and other KitFront functionality
- manage Individual and Team access, memberships, invitations, and seats
- create and verify purchases, manage subscriptions and entitlements, and maintain transaction records
- respond to support requests and send service communications
- understand product usage, measure performance, diagnose problems, and improve KitFront
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, scraping, security incidents, and unauthorized access
- attribute eligible visits and purchases to affiliates or referral sources
- send optional marketing communications where you choose to receive them and applicable law permits
- comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations and enforce applicable agreements
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential Technologies
KitFront uses storage, cookies, and similar technologies where necessary for authentication, security, essential session and application state, checkout, and other core service functionality. These technologies may operate where required to provide the service. Blocking them through your browser may prevent sign-in or other essential features from working.
Optional Analytics and Tracking
KitFront uses optional analytics and tracking technologies to understand website and product usage and improve the service. These technologies are enabled only after you provide the consent required for their use. You can accept optional analytics or continue using KitFront with essential functionality only. Declining optional analytics does not prevent normal essential use of KitFront.
You can later change or withdraw your analytics choice through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Merely continuing to browse KitFront is not treated as consent to optional analytics.
4. Analytics Services
Subject to the consent choices described above, KitFront uses:
- Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage
- Microsoft Clarity to understand website interactions and user experience through usage and session-interaction analytics
- Vercel Analytics for website usage and performance insights
- PostHog for consented product analytics, page views, and product actions
For consented authenticated analytics, KitFront identifies the PostHog profile using the account's internal user ID rather than an email address. KitFront does not intentionally send names or email addresses as PostHog analytics properties. Page analytics use URL pathnames without query parameters or fragments. Product events may include actions such as sign-up, sign-in, Google sign-in initiation, section opening, code copying, favoriting, upgrade interactions, and checkout initiation, together with non-personal product context such as the selected plan.
PostHog analytics requests may be routed through a KitFront domain path before being processed by PostHog. This routing does not change the purposes or protections described in this Privacy Policy.
5. Affiliate and Referral Tracking
KitFront uses Lemon Squeezy's affiliate and referral functionality to determine whether a visit or purchase originated from an affiliate or referral source and to attribute eligible transactions. Where this functionality uses cookies or similar tracking technologies, it is subject to the applicable consent choices described above.
6. Marketing Communications
Where you choose to receive marketing communications, KitFront may send product updates, offers, or similar messages. Marketing communications are opt-in where required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe using the mechanism in a marketing message or by contacting support@kitfront.com.
Transactional and service messages needed for your account, purchase, Team invitation, security, support, or an important service operation are separate from optional marketing communications and may still be sent when necessary.
7. Service Providers
KitFront relies on third-party providers to operate the service. Current providers include:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and account-related service infrastructure
- Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record for checkout, payments, billing, tax, subscriptions, and affiliate or referral functionality
- Resend for delivery of certain transactional and service emails
- Google for Google sign-in and, with consent, Google Analytics
- Microsoft Clarity for optional usage and session-interaction analytics
- Vercel for hosting, deployment, infrastructure, and optional analytics
- PostHog for optional product analytics
- content delivery providers used to load website assets and deliver the service
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and KitFront's configuration and instructions, as applicable.
8. How We Share Information
KitFront does not sell your personal information as a business model.
KitFront may share information with service providers where necessary to operate the service, provide accounts and features, process transactions, deliver emails, provide analytics where consented or otherwise allowed, secure the service, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Team information is also shared with the relevant Team owner and members where reasonably necessary to provide Team functionality.
Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a court order, or legal process; protect the rights, safety, and security of KitFront or others; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce applicable agreements; or support a business transfer such as a sale or transfer of the service or its assets.
9. International Processing
KitFront is operated from India and is available globally. KitFront and its service providers may process or store information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. Appropriate protections are used where required by applicable law.
10. Data Retention
KitFront retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining necessary account, Team, business, and transaction records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud or abuse, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention varies according to the type of information, its purpose, account or subscription status, and legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and security requirements. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed, or retained where legally or operationally necessary. Invitation and membership history, transaction records, security records, and records required to establish or defend legal rights may therefore remain after an account, invitation, or membership is no longer active.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- access personal information held about you
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- request deletion of personal information
- object to or request restriction of certain processing
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
- request portability of certain information where applicable
- lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority where applicable
KitFront does not currently provide a self-service account deletion feature. To request access, correction, deletion, portability, or another applicable privacy action, contact support@kitfront.com. KitFront may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may be retained where applicable law permits or requires it, including transaction, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and legal records.
Where processing relies on consent, withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
12. Security
KitFront uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no service or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and using a secure device and network.
13. Younger Users
KitFront can be used for learning and website building by younger users. Where applicable law requires a parent or legal guardian's involvement or consent for processing personal information or purchasing services, that involvement or consent is required. KitFront does not knowingly solicit unnecessary personal information from children.
14. Third-Party Links
KitFront may link to external websites, tools, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and KitFront is not responsible for how those third parties handle information.
15. Changes to This Policy
KitFront may update this Privacy Policy as the service, its providers, functionality, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date. KitFront will provide reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate or required.
