General

Learn the basics about KitFront and how it helps you build polished websites faster.

KitFront is a production-ready HTML section library for Bootstrap and Tailwind with 500+ sections you can copy, customize, and use in real projects. You can browse the library on the Sections page.

KitFront is built for developers, freelancers, agencies, founders, and product teams who want to ship professional marketing pages and website layouts faster by choosing from a 500+ section library instead of starting every section from scratch.

KitFront is a section library, not a single fixed template. You can choose only the sections you need, combine them in your own project, and adapt the code to match your brand or client brief. Start exploring from Sections.

KitFront is designed to handle the frontend foundation of a website. The Starter Kits provide the base setup, global styles, scripts, and required dependencies, while the section library provides the layouts you combine into pages. Your backend, content, business logic, and deployment remain under your control. Learn more in the Starter Kit guide.

Depending on the project scope and customization required, KitFront can save up to 90% of the time normally spent building repetitive frontend sections. This estimate applies to section-building work, not the entire website project. Preview a section, copy its code, paste it into the matching Starter Kit, and customize it instead of rebuilding the layout from scratch. See the Quick Start workflow.

Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is recommended. KitFront gives you clean section code, but you will get the most value if you are comfortable placing it into your project and adjusting content, spacing, colors, and assets. The Docs explain the setup and usage flow.

No. KitFront is a copy-to-project code library. You work in your own code editor, keep the files inside your own project, and use your preferred hosting and deployment workflow. There are no page limits, export limits, or visual-builder lock-in. Read the Introduction for an overview.

Yes. Guests can browse categories and preview section layouts. A free account gives access to the free Starter Kits and 30+ free sections, while paid Individual and Team plans unlock the complete library. Start on the Sections page.

No. KitFront focuses on frontend code and layouts. You can connect the finished frontend to your preferred backend, CMS, forms, APIs, authentication, database, and hosting provider.

Getting Started & Workflow

Learn how the Starter Kits, previews, and copy-to-project workflow fit together.

Choose Bootstrap or Tailwind, download the matching Starter Kit, browse the Section Library, preview the layouts you need, and copy their code into your project. The complete sequence is covered in Quick Start.

The Starter Kit provides the base files, framework setup, global styles, scripts, and dependencies expected by KitFront sections. Starting from it keeps typography, spacing, buttons, containers, and interactive behavior consistent across the sections you add. See Starter Kit.

Yes. You can copy sections into an existing Bootstrap or Tailwind project, but you may need to bring over the matching global styles, dependencies, utilities, or JavaScript from the Starter Kit. Compare your setup with the Starter Kit guide before integrating sections.

Bootstrap sections include HTML, matching section CSS, and JavaScript when required. Tailwind sections use utility-based HTML and include JavaScript only when required. Exact file locations are explained in Quick Start.

Yes. KitFront sections are modular, so you can combine a hero from one layout, features from another, and separate pricing, FAQ, CTA, or footer sections to create the page your project needs.

When a section offers background options, choose the option in the preview before copying. The copied code includes the selected background treatment, giving you a closer starting point for your page. Browse available layouts on Sections.

KitFront sections are built for responsive website layouts and can be previewed at desktop, tablet, and mobile sizes. Because your content and customizations can affect layout behavior, you should still test the completed page at the breakpoints your project supports.

Yes. You can use only the sections, styles, and scripts you need, then combine them with your own markup, components, integrations, and custom code.

Not always. Some previews may reference third-party images, fonts, icons, or libraries that have their own terms. Replace demo content where appropriate and review the Credits and third-party resources before publishing.

Sections & Frameworks

Understand what is included and how KitFront sections fit into Bootstrap and Tailwind projects.

KitFront includes 500+ common website sections such as heroes, features, services, pricing, testimonials, stats, calls to action, contact blocks, blogs, newsletters, teams, and footers. You can preview the current categories and layouts from Sections.

Yes. Paid access includes Bootstrap and Tailwind versions, so you can use the framework that best matches each project. Each framework has its own Starter Kit and matching section code. See the Starter Kit guide for setup notes.

Bootstrap sections include the HTML, matching section CSS, and JavaScript when the layout requires interaction. Use the Bootstrap Starter Kit as the project foundation and follow the file placement described in Quick Start.

Tailwind sections primarily use utility classes in the HTML and include JavaScript only when a section requires it. Use the Tailwind Starter Kit so the expected theme, utilities, global styles, and dependencies are available. See Quick Start.

KitFront is primarily an HTML section library for Bootstrap and Tailwind. You can use the markup inside React or Next.js projects, but the core library is designed around portable section code rather than framework-specific components. The Quick Start guide explains the intended workflow.

In most cases, yes. KitFront provides portable frontend code that can be adapted to different application frameworks, backends, and CMS platforms. You may need to convert attributes, split markup into components, connect dynamic data, and adapt scripts to the conventions of your stack.

Choose the framework already used by your project or the one your team prefers maintaining. Bootstrap is useful when you want its component and utility conventions with matching section CSS; Tailwind is useful when you prefer utility-first styling directly in the markup.

Yes. You can change copy, colors, spacing, images, layout, classes, and structure to fit your project. The sections are intended to be a strong starting point, not a locked design system. Review the License for usage rules.

Yes. The Starter Kits provide consistent defaults, but you can replace brand colors, typography, spacing, shadows, buttons, and other design decisions to match your own system. The customization references are available throughout the Docs.

No. Many sections are HTML and CSS only. JavaScript is included only when a section needs interactive behavior, and you can include only the scripts required by the sections used in your project.

The Starter Kits include the common files, framework setup, scripts, and dependencies used by KitFront sections. A specific section may still require you to copy its matching code into the documented location. Review what the Starter Kit includes.

Each KitFront section is intended for its matching Bootstrap or Tailwind Starter Kit. KitFront does not provide a combined Starter Kit, and mixing both frameworks can create duplicated styles, larger bundles, and maintenance conflicts. Choose one framework per project unless you are prepared to manage that integration yourself.

Pricing & Billing

Find answers about plans, payments, cancellations, and refund expectations.

Yes. KitFront includes a free starter kit and 30+ free sections so you can explore the quality, code style, preview experience, and framework support before upgrading. You can compare paid options on the Pricing page.

Paid plans unlock the complete 500+ section library, Bootstrap and Tailwind versions, Starter Kits, client and commercial project use, and the updates included with the selected plan. Compare the current options on Pricing.

Individual plans are licensed to one user. Team plans include five seats in total, including the owner, and provide shared access plus central Team management. Review the available Individual and Team options on the Pricing page.

Yearly provides full access and updates for 12 months. Lifetime is a one-time purchase that provides access to current sections and future KitFront section updates for the commercial lifetime of the product, subject to the Terms and License.

Payments are handled securely through our checkout provider. Supported methods may include major cards and other payment options shown at checkout based on your location. Plan details are available on Pricing.

The Pricing page states when displayed prices include applicable taxes. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record, and the final checkout total shown before payment is authoritative for your transaction and jurisdiction.

The purchaser or Team owner can cancel an active Yearly subscription from the signed-in account area to prevent future renewals. Access normally remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period unless a refund, account termination, law, or payment-provider rule requires otherwise. Review the Terms of Service.

Projects legitimately created while your license was active may continue to run and can be maintained after the subscription ends. You lose access to new premium resources and may not reuse previously copied KitFront resources as a private library for new projects without another valid license. See Existing Projects After a Yearly Subscription Ends.

Purchases are generally final because KitFront provides immediate access to digital resources. If a material KitFront-side issue prevents you from using your purchase, contact us promptly, normally within 14 days, so we can try to resolve it. See our Refund Policy for details. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Yes. Please review the free starter kit and 30+ free sections before purchasing a premium plan. Premium access is intended for users who have evaluated the free resources and want access to the full 500+ section library. Start with Sections or compare plans on Pricing.

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable because access continues immediately after renewal. You should cancel before the next billing date if you do not want to continue. See the Refund Policy for details.

Choose Free to evaluate the workflow. Choose Individual Yearly for one user who needs the full library and 12 months of updates. Choose Individual Lifetime for long-term one-user access without renewals. Choose a Team plan when up to five people need their own managed access. Compare all options on Pricing.

Accounts & Teams

Understand account access, Team seats, invitations, and what happens when access changes.

You can browse categories and preview layouts as a guest. A free account is required to access and copy free section code, while paid Individual or Team access is required for premium resources. You can begin from Sections.

After signing in, open the Account dashboard from the user menu to review your current access, plan information, and any billing or Team-management actions available to your account.

Use the Forgot Password page with the email address connected to your account. Follow the secure link sent to that address to create a new password, then sign in again.

A Team plan includes five seats in total, including the Team owner. Every member must use their own KitFront account; login credentials must not be shared. See the License for Team usage rules.

Yes. A pending invitation reserves one of the five available Team seats until the invitation is accepted or revoked.

After signing in, a Team owner can use the Team management area to manage the Team name, invite members, resend or revoke pending invitations, remove active members, and review seat usage.

Their Team-based premium access ends, but their personal account, favorites, personal data, and any separate Individual plan remain unchanged. Existing projects created while Team access was active are governed by the License.

The owner may still be able to view existing Team records, but Team management actions and Team-based premium access are restricted until valid Team access is restored. Existing projects remain subject to the License rules for ended access.

No. Individual accounts and login credentials are for one licensed user only. If multiple people need access, use a Team plan so each person has their own account and managed seat. Review Pricing for current Team options.

License & Usage

Learn how you can use KitFront sections in personal, commercial, and client work.

Yes. While you have the appropriate access or license, you may use KitFront sections in permitted client, freelance, agency, startup, personal, and commercial projects. This does not permit redistribution of KitFront as a reusable resource library. See the License for the full usage terms.

Yes. While you have the appropriate access or license, you may use KitFront resources across unlimited permitted personal, commercial, and client projects. You may not redistribute KitFront resources or keep using them as a reusable library for new projects after a time-limited license ends. The full rules are listed on the License page.

Yes. You may edit, rename, restructure, restyle, combine, and adapt KitFront code for permitted projects. You can replace demo copy, assets, classes, markup, and visual styling as needed. See Code Modification for the full terms.

The copied code lives in your own project, and you control how your completed project is customized, hosted, deployed, and maintained. You own your original content and completed work. KitFront retains ownership of its underlying library and resources, which remain governed by the License.

No. Your KitFront account is intended for your own use. Team members, collaborators, or other developers should use their own accounts unless a team plan or separate agreement is available. For special access needs, contact support.

No. You may not resell, sublicense, share, publish, or redistribute KitFront sections as standalone files, templates, UI kits, competing libraries, or downloadable products. Review the License and Terms before using KitFront in commercial products.

No. Paid KitFront resources may not be published in public repositories or otherwise made publicly downloadable as reusable source resources. You may deliver a permitted completed website or application to a client, but that handoff does not grant rights to extract, redistribute, or reuse KitFront as a standalone library. See the License.

Not without a separate written agreement. You may not embed KitFront resources into a website builder, no-code builder, SaaS generator, template marketplace, or similar product where end users receive reusable source access. For this kind of use, contact us first.

Yes. You can deliver finished websites or applications to clients. The client does not receive separate KitFront membership rights or permission to reuse KitFront as a source library unless they have their own valid license. More detail is available in the License.

Yes. A project legitimately created while your license was active may remain operational and can be maintained, fixed, deployed, and supported. Ended access does not allow you to obtain new premium resources or reuse previously copied resources for unrelated new projects. Review the License for details.
